Delta Debuts at Tokyo LIGHTING FAIR with LED Drivers for Signage and Refrigeration

Delta’s participated for the first time at LIGHTING FAIR 2023, one of the largest lighting exhibitions in Japan, from February 28th to March 3rd. In the tradeshow, Delta showcased its JPVO and JPVI Series LED drivers, exclusively developed for signage and refrigeration in the Japanese market.

With 20 years of experience in Japan’s lighting market, Delta presented its JPVO Series for outdoor use and JPVI Series for indoor use at the exhibition. Both Series offer two nominal output voltages of 12 V and 24 V and three input voltages of 100 V_AC / 200 V_AC / 242 V_AC and feature a 20 W to 300 W power range with conversion efficiency up to 91.9 %.

The JPVO Series, with its IP67 rating, provides complete protection against water and dust which ensures optimal brightness and stability when used for outdoor LED signage. The JPVI Series is intended for indoor use, such as refrigerated display lighting, and features a 10 mm elevated structure, conforming to Japan’s regulations for indoor lighting installation.

Entering the Japanese lighting market back in 2001, Delta has been devoted to developing LED drivers since 2006. Delta’s efforts in the market came to fruition with the birth of the JPVO and JPVI Series in 2010. The two PSE - certified Series comply with Japanese standards according to the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law, ensuring that the specification, quality and efficiency are an ideal match for the local market.

Known to be one of the most comprehensive lighting exhibitions in Japan, the biennial LIGHTING FAIR held its first event since the outbreak of Covid-19.

Despite the downscale this year, the exhibition still attracted more than 60 exhibitors with an unexpectedly high number of visitors showing up at the venue. Delta seized the opportunity to follow up on potential clients’ needs for further market expansion, while many visitors showed their strong interest by giving positive feedback on the displayed LED drivers.
