Delta Showcases Cyber-Physical Integration Enabled by NVIDIA Omniverse at COMPUTEX 2025
Delta unveils a cyber-physical integrated manufacturing demo at COMPUTEX this year. Leveraging Delta’s proprietary digital twin technology developed on NVIDIA Omniverse technologies, Delta has successfully developed high-fidelity, real-time, and physically accurate simulations for production lines and workshops. This advancement significantly enhances efficiency in product development, commissioning, and deployment.
AI-Powered Digital Twin Manufacturing
A demo video of Delta’s AI-powered digital factory vividly showcases how Delta’s digital twin technologies, accelerated by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries, enable virtual simulations across every level of industrial operations, from single machines, complex production lines to the entire factory ecosystem, enabling predictive maintenance, enhanced quality control, and dynamic adaptability on the shop floor.
In shop floor simulation, Omniverse enables the visualization of dust movement through real-time airflow simulations with color-coded displays, which helps identify airflow dead zones and potential cleanliness risks, ultimately optimizing process design and layout to ensure reaching yield and quality targets.
High-Fidelity Simulation Across Multiple Workstations
For production line simulations, multiple workstations in electronic component manufacturing are seamlessly integrated in a cyber-physical environment enabled by Delta and NVIDIA technology — covering every stage from product design to workstation operation simulation.
- Product Design: Delta’s algorithms, coupled with NVIDIA PhysX, enable high-fidelity virtual product design and simulated deployment on the production line.
- Glue Dispensing: Delta’s Virtual Machine Development Platform DIATwin is integrated with NVIDIA Omniverse PhysX to ensure high-fidelity spray process modeling, which visualizes and predicts glue overflow scenarios to optimize spray patterns and enhance application precision.
- Automated Optical Inspection (AOI): Delta uses Omniverse Replicator synthetic data generation (SDG) to randomly generate different types of defects and surface textures, which provides AI training data that enables rapid defect model training and comprehensive quality control. Integrated with NVIDIA Metropolis, it enhances the process, optimizing intelligent inspection across production lines by seamlessly connecting data generation, model training, and deployment.
- Roughening: Delta leverages NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo to train physics-informed AI models that simulate and monitor water tank temperature, which enables real-time detection of anomalies and uneven heat distribution.
Process Simulation Enables Human-Robot Collaboration
With the integration of Omniverse, Delta’s Collaborative Robots D-Bot Series can now simulate real-world environments to perform human-robot collaboration with exceptional precision. This reduces the need for physical prototyping, lowers development costs, and shortens time-to-market, helping businesses improve product reliability and accelerate innovation.
NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim offer photorealistic rendering and AI-driven physical simulations, allowing developers to complete high-fidelity simulations before physical deployment. Delta’s D-Bot users can rapidly validate software stacks and robotic behaviors in virtual environments. For example, implementing real-time obstacle-aware motion planning with NVIDIA cuMotion ensures smoother and safer deployment at the packing station on the shop floor.
Looking forward, Delta’s human-machine collaboration plans to integrate NVIDIA VLM (Vision Language Models) and Metropolis AI Blueprint for Video Search and Summarization (VSS) technologies, which enable natural language interactions with video analytics AI agents and rapid extraction of key video segments for anomaly detection and process optimization — creating a smarter, real-time collaborative environment.
Enabling the Next Era of Industrial AI with NVIDIA
Delta’s collaboration with NVIDIA marks a significant milestone in the evolution of smart manufacturing. By combining cutting-edge NVIDIA digital twin technology with advanced AI-enabled simulation platforms, Delta is not only empowering developers and engineers with powerful tools for innovation but also paving the way for a more efficient, agile, and intelligent industrial future. As the industry moves toward full-scale OT+IT digital transformation, Delta remains committed to driving progress through open collaboration, technological excellence, and sustainable innovation.
