Happy 10-year-old birthday to Delta Wujiang Plants! To celebrate the great event, Delta Greentech just held a 10-years anniversary ceremony on the 17th and 18th June. Thirty thousands colleagues celebrate the big day together in Delta Wujiang Plants with Delta Group's founder and chairman Mr. Bruce Cheng and other important directors and managers. With the most important production base set in Wujiang Plant 3, Delta Industrial Automation Business Unit (IABU) participated this great event and held “Automotive Electronics Business Unit (AEBU) Press Conference” and “Delta Industrial Automation Press Conference 2010” to have the most direct contacts with many reporters from the most famous industrial press in China.

On the 17th June afternoon, all press firstly joined the “Chinese Market Distribution Presentation” held by Delta Group, and than Delta IABU senior sales and marketing manager Mr. Andy Liu led the invited industrial related press to a visit tour in Industrial Automation Hall in the new Scientific and Research Center; everyone was impressed by the well-organized products and live demos display. After having a basic understanding of Delta IA products, the invited press also visited Delta Wujiang Plant 3 where most IA products were produced to satisfy global customers' needs. After the visit, Mr. Liu hosted “Delta Industrial Automation Press Conference 2010” and introduced Delta IABU and its future developments, strategies, and goals. Mr. Liu defined Delta IABU as “High cost-effective products provider, innovative products inventor, and technology provider” to the development of Chinese market in the past decade. He also mentioned that as the increase of material costs and average salary in Chinese market, the input of industrial automation is the only solution to balance the benefits of all manufacturers when answering the questions of the press.

Meanwhile, another focus was on the “AEBU Press Conference”. Delta Vice Chairman and CEO Mr. Yancy Hai firstly gave an opening speech, and he said, “We are facing a time of energy shortage, so it's necessary for us to greatly use energy more effectively. As a result, Delta Electronics launch the Delta PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) with all these years' experiences of electrical technologies, hoping to make green energy applied in our daily life.” Afterwards, Delta IABU & AEBU general manager Mr. Simon Chang introduced the features and capabilities to the press with the special designed transparent plastic PHEV demo. The press was impress by the presentation and asked tones of related questions. The press conference ended friendly and successfully.

On the second day, Delta Wujiang Plants held the inauguration ceremony of the Scientific and Research Center and the 10-years anniversary celebration. Mr. Bruce Chen said in his speech, “Industrial automation is crucial to the development of all countries. Delta IABU has been emphasizing in Chinese market for a long period of time and constantly improves technologies and product quality. IABU certainly built a very successful Delta brand in Chinese industrial automation market.” Mr. Hai also gave credits to Delta IABU. “IABU not only provides industrial components to Chinese market but also supports the production automation of all business units in Delta Group. So when other manufacturers are trying to find suitable equipments to replace operators, we already have the ability to satisfy our internal needs. I believe IABU will be the star of Delta Group in near future!” said Mr. Hai. This 10-years anniversary is certainly an important milestone to Delta IABU; and IABU is confident to promise that by the time 20-years anniversary comes, IABU will reach more accomplishments and goals with the efforts of all employees.
