Greener Elevator Solutions for a Better Life – Delta Industrial Automation Attends IEE EXPO 2014 in India

Delta Industrial Automation showcased its energy-saving products and solutions for elevator control systems at the 5^th International Elevator and Escalator Expo (IEE EXPO 2014) in Mumbai, India, on March 20^th – 22^nd.

IEE EXPO is the only elevator industry exhibition in India, and in past shows it has attracted many national and international participants and showcased all types of elevators, escalators, components and accessories.

As one of the most focused exhibitors, Delta presented its Integrated Elevator Drive – IED-G Series. With drive and control functions in one unit, the IED-G series greatly saves system installation space and helps in faster communication. The IED-G series can also be applied with the Power Regenerative Unit REG2000 Series or Active Front End AFE2000 Series to form an energy-saving elevator solution. The REG2000 or AFE2000 transfers the potential energy generated during elevator operation into regenerative power, which goes back to the grid for energy reuse, and saves up to 50% or more energy for customers. Delta’s energy-saving elevator solutions soon became the topic of conversation among visitors.

Delta also displayed two live demos of Delta’s Elevator Drive VFD-VL Series and Door Control Drive VFD-DD Series, which were applied with the Motor ECMD Series, to provide an in-depth introduction to real applications for visitors. Delta’s various elevator products and solutions satisfy the demands for commercial and industrial elevators, escalators, and cargo elevators.
