Delta Presents VTScada Software to Digitize Manufacturing for Global Markets
In November 2020, Delta acquired Trihedral Engineering Limited, a SCADA and IIoT software company based in Canada. The acquisition unites the strengths of Delta's software/hardware with Trihedral's software in the rapidly growing fields of industrial automation, AI and data analytics. As a result, Delta is now vigorously promoting VTScada – the advanced SCADA system of Trihedral – to global markets.
“Delta has been focused on digitalization and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications for smart manufacturing and smart cities,” said Dave Morse, Vice President of Sales & Product Management for Delta Electronics (Americas) and chairman of Trihedral. “Data collection and analysis as well as process monitoring and control are critical in these areas. With Trihedral, Delta can help worldwide customers digitize their factories.”
Founded in 1986, Trihedral is a well-known Canadian provider of VTScada software and associated engineering services. For over 30 years, Trihedral has been dedicated to enhancing the SCADA platform for use in various markets, such as smart manufacturing. It perfectly aligns with Delta’s strategy in the field – enabling more complete industrial automation and system integration portfolios with Delta’s hardware.
VTScada is one of the leading SCADA systems in water/wastewater, oil & gas, energy and other mission critical industries. It features comprehensive functionality, including built-in Enterprise historian, redundancy and synchronization, load distribution, alarm notification, trending and analysis on-demand, etc. The Thin Client connectivity with unlimited concurrent users supports cross-factory and multinational sites connection, providing vivid, real-time monitoring and visualized management for global clients.
Delta will facilitate a broader business in digitized manufacturing with VTScada. Find out more about VTScada by clicking here!
