Delta Showcases IA Products for New Business Opportunities at Advantage Maharashtra EXPO 2020

Delta recently participated in the Advantage Maharashtra EXPO 2020 show from January 9th to 12th in India. At the show, Delta displayed their latest Standard Servo Drive & Motor ASDA-B3 Series, Basic Compact Drive ME300 Series, Compact Modular Mid-range PLC AS Series and SCARA Robot. More than 300 exhibitors from various industries gathered at the event to share their experiences and develop new business opportunities.

The Advantage Maharashtra EXPO is held in Aurangabad, India. Aurangabad is a tourism capital filled with historical buildings. Since the 1980s, booming industry development has provided numerous opportunities for business talent and accelerated the growth of automobile parts, consumer products, pharmaceutical manufacturing, printing and steel industries. This year, Delta presented a variety of new IA products to meet local industry and smart city demands. Highlights included:

Standard Servo Drive & Motor ASDA-B3 Series: Delta continues to develop and upgrade its servo systems. The ASDA-B3 Series enhances machine stability and reliability for efficient operation, precise motion control and optimized productivity. It supports gantry control and all inertia motors, and is suitable for various industries, including machine tools and electronics.

Basic Compact Drive ME300 Series: Inheriting the excellent performance of Delta's AC motor drives, the ME300's compact design saves installation space in the control cabinet. Many key functions are built-in, including: user-defined parameter groups, single / multi-pump control, built-in brake resistors, and EMC filter. It supports IM and PM motors for more flexible applications. The STO (Safe Torque Off) function ensures operation safety. The ME300 Series is suitable for manufacturing, facility, and building applications.

Compact Modular Mid-range PLC AS Series: The AS Series adopts Delta's self-developed 32-bit SoC CPU for enhanced performance. It is built-in with CANopen and EtherNet/IP protocols for high-speed data transmission, and expansible with 32 modules or 1,024 I/O points maximum. With the strong position control function, the AS Series is capable of controlling a maximum of 8 axes via CANopen and 6 axes via pulse. It is suitable for logic control of automated and municipal equipment.

To meet modern industry application needs, Delta's SCARA Robot features sensor-less compliance control function, excellent speed, repeatability, linearity, and verticality. Combined with Delta's IA products such as machine vision system and robotic application software, it can build an integrated robot workstation for upgraded, advanced and flexible manufacturing.
