Delta IABG Signs 2020 Cooperation Contracts with Taiwanese Distributors

Delta's Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) has just signed 2020 Cooperation Contracts with three Taiwanese distributors: ACE Pillar Co., Ltd. (ACE Pillar), USE Electronics Co., Ltd. (USE Electronics), and Jidien Co., Ltd. (Jidien) on 27th December. At the contract signing ceremony, IABG reviewed overall sales performance for 2019, and wished the partners success in the upcoming 2020. The three representatives of each distributor signed the contracts with IABG General Manager Andy Liu for cooperation in 2020.

IABG General Manager Mr. Andy Liu thanked the efforts of all distribution partners in facing the unstable and challenging global market of 2019. He pointed out that there will be new production line demands, and that orders delayed due to the global situation will be placed. Industrial automation and smart manufacturing are still major market trends, and Delta will provide strong backup support for all partners to achieve their sales targets for 2020.

“5G communication, big data, AI and IoT will accelerate the entry of smart manufacturing, and stimulate the transformation of domestic buildings and factories. In the near future, equipment and industrial robots will take care of production execution, and equipment and production data will be uploaded to the cloud platform for management. This will surely bring revolution and new market needs. We are also seeing opportunities of factory relocation due to the China - United States trade war,” said Mr. Andy Liu. “Delta continues to provide total solutions for various industry applications, and actively promotes smart manufacturing integration for a digital and smart enterprise. We adopt a management system solution in our own factory as an example. In addition, we will continue to promote Delta's IA products and digitalization & visualization technology for manufacturing. We expect our partners to work together, and upgrade the industry for a changing world.”

Aaron Chen, the Senior Assistant Manager of the IABG Sales Division, Taiwan Region, shared market trends and business plans for the upcoming year. Mr. Chen mentioned that key actions would include: promoting smart factory, smart equipment, industrial IoT systems, strengthening industry-specific solutions, refining motion control products, motor drives, sensors, controllers, and Ethernet switches, integrating software and hardware to meet market demands, and developing industry-specific products. In addition, the leaders of Sales Operation & Global Service, Field Application Engineering, and Marketing also reviewed their results of 2019, and introduced their future plans and strategies to the distributors for enhanced cooperation.

The management teams of ACE Pillar, USE Electronics and Jidien recognized Delta IABG's development strategy. They committed to supporting Delta for developing new business opportunities and cultivating professionals for smart manufacturing. ACE Pillar's Director Chris Lee joined the event for the first time this year and said, “We appreciate Delta's support for us to grow and learn with our customers through this challenging year. We will closely follow Delta's strategy for the years to come, and promote new products and industry-specific solutions to penetrate various industries in the Taiwan market.” The managers of the IABG also shared their feedback and comments of the past year with the distributor partners at the event.

At the end of the ceremony, all participants raised their glasses to their efforts of last year, and to their hopes for success in 2020. This year, Delta produced a review video to encourage the distribution partners that a prosperous spring will appear after a severe winter, much like the market. Delta wished the partners a successful 2020. The participants celebrated with a dinner party that brought the annual ceremony to a perfect end.
