Delta participated in Automation Taipei 2025 from August 20–23 with the theme "AI-Enabled Smart Manufacturing." Showcasing its smart manufacturing solutions leveraging AI and cyber-physical integration, Delta is responding to economic challenges with distributed manufacturing and centralized management for glocalization. Grouped by "Robotic Solutions," "Smart Manufacturing for Electronics Assembly," and "Industry Solutions," Delta’s highlights include Collaborative Robots (Cobots) and the AI-Enabled Cognitive Module, Robotic Solution for High-Precision Electronics Insertion & Assembly, Smart Manufacturing Solutions for Glocalization, Cyber-Physical Integration Demo Line, and Warehouse and Logistics Solutions featuring smart management systems, high-speed communications and high-efficiency operations.

Robotic Solutions:

• Delta’s Collaborative Robot (Cobot) with AI Cognitive Module: The AI Cognitive Module enables the Cobot to fulfill the needs of fast changeovers and flexible manufacturing. The Cobot can perform tasks by voice commands and adapt to dynamic environments with real-time path adjustment for precise, safe pick and place. With a payload range of 6–30 kg, IP66 protection and Reflex Safety technology, the Cobot is ideal for applications such as automotive and electronics assembly loading/unloading, and logistics handling.
   
• Robotic Solution for High-Precision Electronics Insertion & Assembly: Delta’s Modular Robot RS-M Series integrates the Electric Gripper RS-GP Series, offering real-time force monitoring to ensure secure handling of delicate components. The solution is designed for high-precision chip insertion and removal for controller boards and memory modules in servers, HPC, and automotive electronics. The RS-GP Series offers up to 0.02mm positioning accuracy. It provides real-time force feedback during operations through ESM high-speed communication, which enables precise force and path control to avoid over-pressing or misalignment and thus enhances product yield.

• Smart Manufacturing Solutions for Glocalization: Delta’s comprehensive smart equipment for electronics assembly serves as the intelligent hub. By connecting the equipment with a highly integrated IIoT network, Delta achieves seamless synchronization of data flows between the equipment and management systems to facilitate smooth communication between the shop-floor and management systems. The Inline Management Solution Line Manager connects IT and OT systems to enable rapid line changeovers and data-driven decision-making by implementing updates of recipes and operations to machines in real time. Delta Manufacturing Operation Management DIAMOM integrates modules including MES, equipment management, and warehouse management, allowing centralized management and real-time visualization of global factory status to enable agile response and optimized decision-making.
   
• Cyber-Physical Integration Demo Line: The Demo Line connects smart equipment with digital platforms to accelerate cross-regional production line deployment and iteration. It features Delta’s Virtual Machine Development Platform DIATwin, Inline Management Solution Line Manager, and smart equipment including Delta’s Cobot, D30 Inserter, and the Reconfigurable Transformer Machine (RTM) for Glue Dispensing. Processing paths and parameters, which are auto-generated and virtually validated in DIATwin, are automatically implemented on the machines as the Cobot recognizes the incoming material.

• Integrated Solution for Warehouse Management, Wireless Communication, Conveyors, and Safe Handling: Delta Warehouse Management System digitalizes the whole management process from receiving, inspection, internal logistics, to shipping. It delivers real-time visibility and analysis of inventory KPIs for optimized decision-making. The AI-Enabled Enterprise WLAN Solution intelligently optimizes wireless access point connections, which ensures that devices such as AGVs maintain stable and uninterrupted connectivity even while in motion.
  
  Delta’s Advanced IIoT Controller AX-5 and HMI DOP-300 support WiFi and mainstream protocols for smooth data exchange of IIoT. The AX-5 executes programs within nanoseconds, making it perfect for multi-tasking operations including communication, multi-axis control, and logical computing. It is ideal for complicated applications including high-speed sortation conveyors and AGVs. The 3D ToF Smart Camera DMV-T, boasting high accuracy (<1%), <80ms detection time, enhances obstacle detection, and shelf positioning to ensure precise handling. The time of flight technology allows stackers, AMRs, and automated forklifts to operate smoothly even in a darker environment.
   
• E-Vehicle Charging Solutions for Warehousing and Logistics: Delta’s MOOV^base Modular Charging System is designed for fast and safe e-vehicle charging, offering up to 30 kW power and enhanced charging speed with up to 640A. This year, Delta is launching the latest Multi-port Charging System as an extension module to the MOOV^base Series, which enables a highly efficient power distribution to charge up to three industrial vehicles simultaneously, simplifying on-site charging infrastructure and saving space and costs.
  
  The MOOV^air Wireless Charging Systems address the increasing demand for automated logistics. With power options from 1 to 30 kW, this inductive charging solution offers highly efficient wireless, contactless power transmission, which is ideal for opportunity and in-process charging of AGVs/AMRs, pallet trucks, forklifts, and stackers. The MOOV^air 03, the flagship model of the Series, delivers a high-performance 3.3kW power output and a charging current of up to 132A at 24V.
