Delta Industrial Automation Hosts Its First After-Sales Service Training in Brazil! Strengthening Multinational Collaboration between Latin America and Asia

In July 2024, Delta Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) published an article introducing its robust global service network. Following this, from September 2nd to the 6th, Delta’s Global Service (GS) team held after-sales service training sessions in São Paulo, Brazil. The training event brought together Authorized Service Providers (ASPs) from across Latin America, along with engineers from Delta’s Brazil and Mexico branches. Despite being the first training of its kind in Latin America, attendance exceeded expectations, with participants from Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and more. This highlighted the event’s broad appeal and vibrant internationality.

First Ever Training in Brazil
Eilleen Wu, Manager of Global Service Department, Delta IABG, remarked, “Delta has always placed great importance on the Latin American market and recognizes the immense potential for industrial automation in this region. Hosting our first training in Brazil, a vibrant country rich in growth potential, not only strengthens regional collaboration but also facilitates technical knowledge exchange. It’s an honor to witness this historic moment alongside ASPs from various countries and our Delta colleagues.”

Adilson Silva, South America Director, Delta IABG, shared his thoughts, “Dreaming big consumes the same energy as dreaming small. We choose to dream and plan big! Hosting such a large-scale event is a significant responsibility and challenge for us. Knowing our partners’ expectations for high-level training, our goal is to provide them with a week full of exceptional experiences.”

Diverse Training for Technical & After-Sales Service Quality Upgrade
The training sessions were comprehensive, covering a wide range of topics including product introductions, hands-on practice, technical exchanges, after-sales service systems and online resources promotion, and more. Focusing on key techniques such as disassembly, calibration, and maintenance, the trainers ensured that all participants thoroughly grasped the essentials. The training also aimed to cultivate technical expertise at overseas branches, and build a skilled, professional team. The newly acquired technical experts will allow attendees to return to their regional branches to train other ASPs and serve customers, creating a positive cycle of technical knowledge transfer. This enhances the overall quality of after-sales services and strengthens Delta’s competitiveness in the industrial automation market across Latin America.

Multilingual Interpretation Supporting Cross-Cultural Exchange
The attendees primarily communicated in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, with strong support from the Delta Brazil team, which provided cross-interpretation in all three languages. This not only bridged language gaps but also fostered deeper exchanges between ASPs and the GS team. Participants from both Latin America and Asia gained a greater understanding of each other’s cultures, enhancing cross-cultural collaboration and networking.

Celebrating with a Banquet
After the training sessions concluded, the Delta team and ASP participants gathered for a relaxed, friendly banquet. Enjoying local delicacies, attendees shared their learning experiences and exchanged insights, deepening mutual interactions. The banquet not only extended bonds of knowledge and friendship, but also created lasting memories for everyone.

The training concluded in a warm, pleasant atmosphere, with participants offering high praise: “The training was diverse and engaging. The instructors vividly demonstrated the product assembly/disassembly steps. We are grateful to the GS team for dedicating so much time, effort, and resources to this training. It was an invaluable opportunity to connect with professionals from different countries. We look forward to future exchanges and learning opportunities!” Delta IABG will continue to arrange in-person training sessions worldwide, customizing content to market needs, sharing knowledge and skills with ASPs, and embracing new opportunities.
