How do I exchange data between 2 HMIs?
An HMI has a built-in
Modbus TCP/COM Mapping Table, which allows the HMI to act as a Modbus Slave for a Modbus Client to read. Another HMI can use a Modbus TCP/IP driver to read the data.
For example, to exchange data between HMI-A and HMI-B:
(1) For HMI-A, which uses the built-in Modbus TCPIP Mapping Table, no extra settings are needed.
(2) For HMI-B, add a Modbus TCP/IP driver in the
Communication Settings. Enter the remote HMI-A’s IP in
Controller IP to read its register data.
