The 1.5MW/1.5MWh energy storage system built by Delta in the Taiwan Changbin Solar Power Plant has been accepted in December 2020. This is Delta’s fourth megawatt (MW) energy storage system in Taiwan. It adopts a brand-new outdoor battery cabinet and power conditioning system to regulate the solar power produced by the Changbin Solar Power Plant and eliminate intermittent of renewable energy.
This project is a one-stop-shop energy storage solution. Delta assists the site owner to create the most effective and applicable system configuration with its PCS, battery system, energy management system and control system. This one-stop-shop solution can greatly reduce the difficulty of system integration and shorten the test time, so that the system can be completed and run on time. It is the first of several energy storage manufacturers in Changbin Solar Power Plant to pass the acceptance of the site owner and commission successfully.
