The DD-S64C8v1/DD-S64C8v2 Fixed 2RU Switch is a cutting-edge solution designed to meet the demands of today’s cloud scale data center infrastructures. This state-of-the-art switch is powered by a Tomahawk5 51.2Tbps ASIC, with bidirectional high-density 800 GbE ports, making it an ideal high radix network for hyperscale AI and Machine learning clusters.. 

The DD-S64C8v1/DD-S64C8v2 switch features a 64-port 800GbE QSFP112-DD form factor, providing breakout options for up to 256 ports of 400G or up to 512 ports of 100G high radix breakout. With an advance Networking Processor Unit (NPU) embedded and  a high-performance 165.2MB buffer memory, it ensures maximum burst absorption and service guarantees. The advanced multipathing capability includes highly flexible schemes.

Designed with a focus on optimizing data center network flexibility, efficiency, and availability, the DD-S64C8v1/DD-S64C8v2 switch incorporates multiple architectural features. It offers the choice of IO panel to PSU or PSU to IO panel airflow, catering to both hot and cold aisle environments. The redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans enhance reliability.

Delta has prioritized flexibility in the DD-S64C8v1/DD-S64C8v2 design, offering options such as CPU module options up to 8 cores. The switch is integrated with a system FPGA for unified control PCIe toward the host CPU. Additionally, it supports Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), Open Network Linux (ONL), and Open Network Linux Platform (ONLP) APIs.
