What is the purpose of using the RFI jumper?
The purpose of using the RFI jumper is to isolate the main power from earth. If the AC motor drive is supplied from an IT or TN power system, the RFI jumper must be removed. This disconnects the RFI capacities (filter capacitors) from the ground to prevent circuit damage and reduce current leakage to earth.
