Seeking Smart Manufacturing Talents: 85 Int'l Teams to Compete in the 6th Delta Cup Finals in Wujiang, China

The 6th Delta Advanced Automation Contest finals, also known as the 6th Delta Cup, will take place at Delta's Wujiang Plant, China, in July. With the theme "Seeking Smart Manufacturing Talents", the contest recruited a total of 85 teams of college and university students from around the world, including 68 from Mainland China, 8 from Taiwan, 3 from Thailand, 3 from India, 2 from Vietnam, and one newly participating team from the Netherlands (Fontys University of Applied Sciences).

With "Seeking Smart Manufacturing Talents" as the main theme, this year's contest also includes three subthemes – "Innovative Equipment", "Smart Factory" and "Future Life". All contestants need to team up, select one of the subthemes, and design and build a demo that presents their innovative ideas.

Daling Jin, leading judge of the 6th Delta Cup judging committee, said, “We can clearly see that over the years, the influence of the Delta Cup has steadily grown and the level of the students' designs and projects has continued to rise. This year, the broad coverage of the competition has led to more creative ideas related to smart manufacturing, smart factories and industrial robots, as well as to smarter daily facilities such as unmanned restaurants, smart garages, intelligent fruit & vegetable purchasing, and automated farms. We look forward to seeing even more breakthroughs in innovative thinking, practical capabilities and applied theory at this year's Delta Cup finals.”

The 6th Delta Advanced Automation Contest finals will soon be held in Wujiang, from July 23rd to 26th with all 85 finalists demonstrating their works and competing for the championship. Please visit the official website of the 6th Delta Advanced Automation Final Contest for more information:
