Delta Speaks at the Energy Saving and Industrial Automation Forum

Delta Industrial Automation (IA) was invited to the “Energy Saving and Industrial Automation Forum” held by Taiwan's Taoyuan County Government.

Since 2007, Taiwan's Taoyuan County Government has held the “Excellent Enterprise Awards” to encourage enterprises based in Taoyuan to strive for success and long term development. The awards include “Evergreen”, “Innovative”, “Good Quality of Service”, and “Environment Friendly and Green Energy”, which Delta received in 2013.

On October 6th, 2014, Delta was invited to the “Meet with Taoyuan's Excellent Enterprises and County Mayor, and 2014 Energy Saving and Industrial Automation Forum”. Delta IA shared its mission to provide a greener environment with energy savings and environmental protection.

At the event, the mayor of Taoyuan County, Mr. Wu Chih-Yang, showed appreciation to Taoyuan enterprises for offering stable job opportunities. He said that Taoyuan is an important industrial zone and has the highest labor force participation rate and most local and foreign workers among all counties in Taiwan. Mr. Wu hoped that industries in Taoyuan continue to develop as low-pollution and low-energy consumption enterprises as Taoyuan will be a municipality in the near future.
The Taoyuan government invited Delta to speak about industrial automation at the forum. The government encouraged awarded enterprises to learn more about the technologies in the hope that they would enhance productivity while saving energy at the same time.

Alex Chang, the Assistant Manager of System Integration Department of Delta Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) spoke at the forum. In a brief presentation, Mr. Chang gave an overview of the industrial market's current situation, and the solutions, technologies, and services that Delta offers. He pointed out that almost all industries have become aware of the importance of energy saving and carbon reduction due to issues caused by an increasing global population and excess power consumption. High-tech industries are looking for approaches to save more energy and develop a variety of energy saving products. Currently, industries are developing smart green buildings and intelligent factories to achieve smart manufacturing and automation with the help of industrial automation technology. Delta offers various automation and energy saving solutions for machines, factories, process, buildings, and energy management systems. Mr. Chang also presented Delta's Taoyuan Technology Center as an example of smart green building and building automation that has applied Delta's products.

The award-winning enterprises expressed great interest in Delta IA's products and solutions after the presentation and Q&A. They also inquired about introducing Delta's energy saving technologies to their production processes.
