Delta Taoyuan Technology Center Wins
"Environment Friendly and Green Energy Award"

Taipei, Taiwan, Oct. 2, 2013 – Delta's Taoyuan Technology Center has won the 2013 "Environmental Friendly and Green Energy Award" for its environmental performance of saving 53% in energy consumption and 900 million NTD in 2012. Delta received the honor today from Taiwan's Taoyuan County Government at its 7th "Excellent Enterprise Awards" award ceremony. Mr. Andy Liu, assistant general manager of Delta's Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG), attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of Delta.

The Taoyuan Technology Center's environmental performance includes:

Green Building Certificates: Received LEED Gold certification and EEWH Gold green building label
Energy savings: Saved 53% in energy consumption in 2012 by adopting Delta's energy-efficient solutions, including HVAC solutions with 52% energy savings, elevator solutions with 52% energy savings, LED lighting with 50% energy savings, and more.
Water savings: Saved 75% in water consumption by adopting water-saving taps, water-saving toilets, a rainwater harvest system, and a water treatment system.
