Delta Presents the Latest IA Products for Upgrading Industry at Daegu Machinery Expo 2019

Delta's Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) has just participated in the Daegu Machinery Expo (DAMEX) from November 5th to 8th in Daegu, Korea. At the event, Delta introduced its SCARA Robot, Articulated Robot, and Standard AC Servo System ASDA-B3 Series to the local market and customers.

The aging of the population is causing shortages of labor and rising labor costs. To make this issue worse, the younger generation is not keen to join industries that require heavy manual labor or repetitive tasks. This is resulting in the growing popularity for smart service robots, entertainment robots and industrial robots, which is generating new business opportunities. To catch this market trend, Delta showcased its SCARA Robot DRS Series to perform pick-and-place operations on an electronic magnet assembly line, and its Delta Articulated Robot DRV Series with the Delta Machine Vision System DMV2000 Series for metallic product positioning.

To fulfill machine makers' demands, Delta also displayed various new IA products:
- Compact Drive MS300 Series: Inheriting the outstanding performance of Delta's AC motor drives, the MS300 Series features a compact design, flexible applications, a stable operation system, reliable quality, and easy installation. It can greatly enhance the productivity of a machine in a limited space to optimize resources for better competiveness.
- Standard AC Servo System ASDA-B3 Series: Featuring high durability and stable operation, the ASDA-B3 Series enables users to build highly efficient equipment, while providing a convenient operating environment and precise motion control functions. At Delta's booth, the Gantry Application Live Demo adopted the ASDA-B3 Series and the Linear Stage LU Series showcased a multi-axis synchronization function via high-speed EtherCAT fieldbus to compensate the speed of all axes, and to improve unstable operation due to installation or mechanism deviation.

To conquer the challenges of insufficient labor resources, Delta's IABG continues to develop new IA products and solutions for customers in the industrial automation markets of Korea.
