Event Review: Delta Features Efficient and Energy-saving Solutions at Middle East Electricity 2019

Delta recently participated in the Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2019 show at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 5th to 7th. To meet the application demands for a wide range of industries, Delta has integrated IA products with precision control and drive functions to provide a variety of solutions. Highlights included the Delta Integrated Automation Solution, HVAC System Solution, Industrial IoT Cloud Solution, and Multiple Water Pumps Control Solution. These solutions successfully showcased Delta's R&D capabilities in industrial automation, attracting many professionals.

With the rapid development of infrastructure and growing population, the requirement for electricity has increased quickly in Dubai. The 44th MEE is regarded as the world's 5th most popular industrial event with significant influence in the electricity, lighting, new energy and nuclear energy sectors. Every year, the MEE gathers manufacturers, solution providers, and international corporations from more than 120 countries.

At the fair, Delta featured a wide range of IA products and solutions for smart manufacturing and energy systems, including:

• Multiple Pumps Control Solution: Delta has developed the Basic Compact Drive ME300 Series for multi-pump control. The ME300 is capable of controlling 4 pumps at the same, and maintaining constant output water pressure. It can adjust operating pump quantities based on real-time demand, providing stable water supply while saving energy. Users can configure the systems easily with the built-in industry specific application function blocks on the Delta Human Machine Interface DOP-100. The Industrial 3G Cloud Router DX Series provides remote connection via the VidaGridTM cloud service. Operation staff can use the Android and iOS APP for remote monitoring, enhancing the pump control efficiency and life cycle of the equipment.

• HVAC System Solution: Delta provides a complete solution for chiller, air conditioning and cooling water systems. The temperature, pressure and electricity consumption data measured by the Multi-function Power Meter DPM Series is sent back to the host controller Network Type Advanced Slim PLC DVP-SE Series. The DVP-SE Series controls the Fan and Pump Drive CFP2000 Series to drive the stable operation of the HVAC system. The Widescreen Ethernet HMI DOP-W Series displays real-time operation data via Ethernet communication. Users can manage and maintain the HVAC system with ease. Through the distributed SCADA system for Facility Management Control System (FMCS), the solution provides convenient, efficient and flexible building HVAC system configuration.

Thanks to its excellent location and complete public transportation structure, Dubai has become the most important trading center in the gulf region and Middle East. Its market covers Arabic countries, North Africa, the Indian Peninsula and the rest of the world, making the MEE event the leading electricity and lighting exhibition of the Middle East region. Delta presented an outstanding lineup of efficient and energy-saving solutions at Middle East Electricity 2019, as it continues to establish its brand and “Automation for a Changing World.”
