Event Review: Delta Showcases Integrated CNC Solutions and Applications at AMTEX 2018

Delta recently participated in the 11th Asian Machine Tool Exhibition (AMTEX) in New Delhi, India from 6th to 9th July. During the event, Delta highlighted a variety of industrial automation (IA) products and machine tool solutions, such as Delta CNC Solutions and the Delta Integrated Automation Solution, drawing the attention of many visitors.

AMTEX is the leading biennial fair for the machine tool industry in India. Participating exhibitors range from manufacturers of cutting machines, forming machines, foundry and forging machines to related molding equipment and machine tools. The 4-day event creates countless business opportunities through the lively interaction of 450 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors.

At the fair, Delta presented a variety of IA products and solutions for the machine tool industry. Highlights included:

The highlight was the live CNC lathe machine demo using Delta's CNC Controller NC300 Series as master control. With a built-in 32-bit CPU, the NC300 Series offers real-time and multi-functional motion control. Its user-friendly human machine interface (HMI) provides easy operation building customized screens with the CNC Soft software. Delta CNC Solutions integrate a CNC controller, AC servo drives & motors and Delta's high speed motion control system DMCNET delivering precise and fast motion controls. The S-curve acceleration profile decelerates before interpolation to minimize vibration and sustain equipment stability, fulfilling the machine tool industry's operation needs for precision and efficiency.

• Delta Integrated Automation Solution: Delta provides machine tool makers with a fully integrated industrial automation solution. In addition to manufacturing devices such as motor drives, servo drive & motor systems, sensors & meters to controllers and HMIs, Delta also provides a complete set of industrial Ethernet products and system software to connect the equipment and controller. Delta's integrated IIoT structure helps customers achieve Industrial 4.0 automated manufacturing.
