Event Review: Delta Presents Energy-Efficient Automation Products and Solutions for HVAC&R and Green Energy Industries at MCE 2018

Delta showcased a wide range of energy-efficient automation products and solutions at the 41st Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE 2018), which is held from March 13th to 16th at the Fiera Milano exhibition center in Milan, Italy. During the event, Delta highlighted several energy-saving automation products for HVAC and new energy industries such as the Vector Control Drive C2000 Series and the IP55 Fan/Pump Drive CFP2000 Series Demo, attracting many visitors to its booth.

Held once every two years, Mostra Convegno Expocomfort is considered one of the leading international HVAC exhibitions. The event offers a comprehensive business platform for HVAC&R, water, and green energy industry professionals to source the latest technologies and solutions based on their needs. This year, the event focused on “Global Comfort Technology” and gathered 160,000 visitors and more than 2,400 manufacturers from industries such as heating networks & boilers, ventilation, air-conditioning, refrigeration, measuring devices, components and tools interacting with renewable energies, home & building automation and control systems, and more.

During the 4-day event, Delta presented a line of products and solutions for HVAC&R and green energy industries with highlights that include:

• Vector Control Drive C2000 Series: The powerful C2000 Series adopts a dual mode to control both an induction motor and permanent magnet motor, offering a stable and precise control of position, speed, and torque for all types of drive applications. In addition, the C2000 Series provides 10k steps capacity of built-in PLC functions with CANopen Master protocol to perform synchronous control and fast data exchange, while achieving multi-system integration and cost-saving installation.

• IP55 Fan/Pump Drive CFP2000 Series Demo: Specially designed for HVAC, fans & pumps, and water treatment industries, the Fan and Pump Drive CFP 2000 Series provides harmonic suppression and better power quality to the system with the built-in EMC filter and a DC choke. This design also saves customer's time and space for installing an electrical distribution cabinet. Additionally, the CFP2000 Series is certified with IP55 that offers effective protection from dust and water, suitable for different applications such as heating and air-conditioning in buildings, fans, chillers, and water supply systems. Along with a mains switch, IP55 models do not require an additional breaker box and allow easy turning off the power during daily maintenance to ensure safe and convenient operation.

Initially held in 1960, MCE still attracts numerous visitors, experts, and manufacturers from all over the world to every event. Facing global trends for energy savings and the needs of HVAC and new energy components and equipment, Delta continues to fulfill our commitment “To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow,” and offer energy-efficient and optimized industrial automation products and solutions to achieve “Automation for a Changing World”.
