On to the Future of Smart Manufacturing Together - Delta IABG Signs 2017 Cooperation Contracts with Taiwanese Distributors

Delta's Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) has just signed annual cooperation contracts for 2017 with three Taiwanese distributors: ACE Pillar Co., Ltd. (ACE Pillar), USE Electronics Co., Ltd. (USE Electronics), and Jidien Co., Ltd. (Jidien). The contract signing ceremony was held at the end of 2016 to celebrate the coming year 2017, and Delta invited its partners in Taiwan to join its journey to the future of smart manufacturing at the event.

Jidien President Shang-te Seng, ACE Pillar President John C. C. Lin, and USE Electronics General Manager Seiji Ishida participated in the ceremony and signed the contracts with IABG General Manager Simon Chang.

IABG General Manager Simon Chang thanked all of the partners' efforts in 2016, and pointed out the importance of making continuous efforts to stay competitive in the fast changing market. “We see an overwhelming trend towards smart manufacturing all over the world. The industrial automation industry has triggered a revolution in smart manufacturing. In 2016, we launched many advanced new products for high-end machines, including our new articulated robot, monitoring system, energy management system, which were unveiled for flexible and smart manufacturing. Through our merger with Unicom, Delta now includes a manufacturing execution system (MES) in our automation roadmap.”

As Delta takes the initial steps toward smart manufacturing, Chang encouraged all partners to enhance their professional technology and product know-how regarding smart manufacturing.

IABG Sales and Marketing VP Andy Liu shared Delta's industrial automation blueprint at the ceremony, highlighting Delta's continuously expanding automation product lines and its newly launched monitoring and management software for smart manufacturing Delta has in fact introduced many new products and software for the integration of smart machines, smart factories, and IIoT. The development has expanded Delta's automation from motion, drives, sensing, control, communication to data collection, remote monitoring, and real-time management. All the efforts show that Delta is ready for the coming era of smart manufacturing.

Inspired by the words of Simon and Andy, ACE Pillar, USE Electronics and Jidien promised to start their preparations for smart manufacturing. They also shared their sales experience and customer feedback from 2016 with the IABG's product and sales teams, who made a video to thank and express their best wishes to all partners.

At the end of the ceremony, all participants toasted the success of the ceremony, and hopes for the upcoming year. With mutually beneficial arrangements, good wine, and a delicious dinner, this year's contract signing ceremony was a delightful occasion, bringing IABG and their partners in Taiwan closer together and looking forward to a successful 2017.
