Event Review: Delta IA Showcases Diversified Industrial Automation Solutions at METALLOOBRABOTA 2016

Delta Industrial Automation participated in the METALLOOBRABOTA 2016 event in Russia from May 23 to 27. During the event, Delta showcased diversified automation products and solutions to fulfill a variety of needs from Russia's fast-growing machine tools and heavy industries. Many buyers visited the Delta booth and showed great interest in Delta's different solutions. Through the 5-day event, Delta successfully boosted its product popularity and extended brand awareness in the Russian market.

Russia maintains a vast territory and abundant resources in coal, gas and oil. The country has well-developed heavy industries and recently put much effort in developing the corresponding machinery industries. Delta showcased a wide range of products at the event including CNC controllers, PLCs, HMIs, AC motor drives, AC servo drives and motion control and power regeneration solutions. In addition to offering sophisticated automation solutions for machine makers, Delta also provides key components for heavy industry applications such as steel, metallurgy and facility systems in manufacturing plants.

Delta's products and solutions received a lot of positive feedback from visitors. Among these, the CNC solution was one of the most popular highlights. Delta's CNC solution integrates the CNC controller NC300 Series as a host, and features a built-in 32-bit dual CPU and high speed multifunctional control center. By adopting the Delta ASDA-A2 Series, the solution is capable of performing high precision control and high speed communication. The Delta CNC solution provides various advantages including high speed, high precision, high efficiency, and easy installation and maintenance.

For heavy industrial applications, Delta's Vector Control Drive C2000 Series, Fan and Pump Vector Control Drive CP2000 Series and Heavy Duty Vector Control Drive CH2000 Series all provide high power models with up to 560kW, 400kW and 280kW. The three series have been applied to many successful applications in heavy industries worldwide. Delta's High Performance Mid-range PLC AH500 Series supports up to 4,352 local I/O extensions and more than 100,000 remote I/O extensions. The maximum length of extension cable between each AH500 local extension rack is 100m, which greatly enhances system flexibility.

The AH500 Series also supports a hot-swapping function, preventing losses due to a pause in the system's operation and providing convenient maintenance. The AH500 Series delivers outstanding solutions for large facility or process automation systems such as water treatment and HVAC.
