Delta's Advanced Automation Products and Smart Solutions Showcased at MachAuto Expo 2020 in India

Delta just presented its advanced industrial automation products and smart production solutions at MachAuto Expo 2020 in India from 21st ~ 24th February. Aiming at enhancing the performance and capability of manufacturing equipment and processes in India, Delta impressed all visitors with its highlighted exhibits: the IP55 Fan and Pump Drive CFP2000 Series with state-of-the-art drive technology and high protection level for pump and fan applications; and the multi-tasking robot workstation with an Articulated Robot DRV Series for flexible processing.

MachAuto Expo is held annually in Ludhiana, one of the largest cities in North India that is famous for its industry. The expo focuses on engineering machinery, machine tools, auto parts, CNC machines and SPMs, automation technology and many others. More than 500 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors joined MachAuto Expo this year to exhibit or learn about the most updated manufacturing products and technologies.

To fulfill the market's needs in India, Delta showcased AC motor drives, programmable logic controllers, CNC solutions, network type human machine interfaces, Ethernet switches, motion control systems, machine vision systems, smart sensors and meters, power quality management and more. Among all, the most focused on displays were:

˙ IP55 Fan and Pump Drive CFP2000 Series:
The CFP2000 series is an AC motor drive specially designed for HVAC, fans & pumps, and water treatment applications. Its IP55 enclosure provides effective protection from dust and water. At the exhibition, Delta presented the CFP2000 Series with a live demo that proved its waterproof capability.

The CFP2000 features advanced drive functions, a built-in EMC filter, DC chokes, Real-Time Clock (RTC), and BACnet, and provides the best solution for the special needs of various industries. Its Safe Torque Off (STO) and built-in PLC (10k steps) functions enhances equipment automation and operation efficiency.

˙Multi-tasking Robot Workstation:
Seeing the increasing needs for flexible, smart production worldwide, the manufacturers in India also seek solutions for production upgrades. Delta's multi-tasking robot workstation integrates an Articulated Robot DRV Series and other key components (including a robot controller, a machine vision system, and a handheld teaching pendant) to perform multi-angle pick-&-place and insertion on site and it impressed many visitors. This workstation can also be applied to soldering/welding, glue dispensing/spraying, assembly, loading/unloading and more, suitable for various industries and applications. This demo was the most inquired about display at Delta's booth during the exhibition.

Hundreds of visitors from the machine tool, electronics, and consumer goods manufacturing industries visited Delta's booth during the three-day event. Many expressed their expectations for improved equipment efficiency and competitiveness through cooperation with Delta. The event was a great success for Delta.
