Delta appears at the 2019 China Refrigeration Exhibition to promote intelligent buildings

Showing up at the 2019 China Refrigeration Exhibition, Delta presented the IP intelligent building solutions of its subsidiary LOYTEC to demonstrate all-round HVAC solutions for water chiller group control, fan-coil network control, indoor air quality, building energy-saving management, and more. Delta's products and solutions can be applied to different types of buildings such as hospitals, retail, office, public buildings and others. Delta also displayed the LIOB-585, an I/O controller, which has just won US 2018 ControlTrends Award - the Building Automation Plant/Equipment Controller of the Year. The LIOB-585 can integrate multiple functions to help customers improve the technical level of smart HVAC control and reduce costs as well.

Zhao Guochao, Director of Intelligent Building Products at Delta Greentech, said that Delta focuses on the entire intelligent building industry, actively deploying to provide customers with one-stop system integration solutions and services such as smart HVAC control, lighting control, room automation, infrastructure integration, smart surveillance, and green building consulting services. Delta's LOYTEC intelligent building solution with IoT architecture, a single control platform across systems and regions, integrates various subsystems such as lighting, HVAC, security, and others, assisting owners improve operational efficiency and energy efficiency through digital control and large data analysis. For example, the energy saving is more than 22.5% at the Zhengzhou Airport Data Center.

Various HVAC solutions were shown at the exhibition. For example, the water chiller group control solution not only adjusts the unit operation automatically according to the actual cooling load demand of air conditioning, but it also intelligently monitors the temperature and pressure of the system to alert any abnormalities in real time. It can also automatically count the cumulative execution time of equipment and achieve active intelligent management. The fan coil network control emphasizes centralized control at the end of the air conditioning system, which can effectively avoid energy consumption and achieve flexible room monitoring and management according to the needs of different areas. The indoor air quality solution automatically detects the indoor air quality and regulates the ventilation system to keep the air fresh.

The LIOB-58x Series I/O controllers are flexible and applicable for use regardless of the size of the control area. Among them, LIOB-585 I/O controller can be combined with IP architecture and building management, and is suitable for a variety of air conditioning terminal equipment to achieve integrated control. It also supports a variety of building and air-conditioning communication protocols, integrates IoT devices such as HVAC, lighting or projectors through IP networks, and supports Wi-Fi and EnOcean wireless expansion, which is well recognized by the American HVAC industry. The LIOB-589 I/O controller has an IP network function, physical input and output, integrated graphical function, programmable LonMark system and BACnet network automation station, which can establish a daisy chain of as many as 20 devices and an Ethernet network loop of double-Ethernet networks, significantly saving construction costs.
