Delta Delivers Efficient Wastewater Treatment Solution for Chemical Fiber Company

This leading chemical fiber company is regarded as one of the world's five biggest polyester manufacturers, with an annual capacity of over 2 million tons of polyester production. Since the company's factory in China manages 6,000 to 10,000 tons of wastewater daily, a second wastewater treatment plant is scheduled to be constructed this year. In cooperation with Delta, the company is applying Delta's SCADA system DIAView, which provides factory visualization and real-time data analysis to fulfill recycling water standards and solve problems such as human error in meter reading.

The chemical fiber company's requirements for wastewater treatment include:

1. Meeting China's new standard in recycling water: Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) consisting of 250 mg/L and electrical conductivity less than 500 us/cm

Delta IA provided the company with a complete wastewater treatment solution. The solution adopts Delta's AC motor drives and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for controlling and monitoring onsite pump speed during the water purification process. For the factory's operational data collection, high speed industrial Ethernet switches quickly transmit data to industrial PCs and panel PCs for the DIAView SCADA system to execute monitoring and data analysis. In addition, the data can be transmitted to Delta's cloud platform (DIACloud) for remote monitoring.
