Delta CBO Shan-Shan Guo Speaks on Innovation & Branding at the 2013 Greater China Corporate Leadership Summit

On October 29th, 2013, Delta's Chief Brand Officer Ms. Shan-shan Guo participated in the Greater China Corporate Leadership Summit held by Global Views Magazine, along with Taiwan's Vice Minister of Economic Affairs Mr. Woody Duh, Mtone Wireless Chairman Mr. Victor Wang, Hsinchu County Commissioner Ching-Chun Chiu and moderated by the Dean of NTU's College of Management Mr. Ruei-Hsiang Kuo.

Ms. Guo highlighted the alignment between Delta's mission and the theme of the event with her speech on: "Towards a Better Life in the Greater China Region through Innovation and Branding".

Delta's brand is dedicated to delivering a long-lasting positive impact on the community via its robust efforts in corporate social responsibility, innovation and R&D, responsible management, and philanthropic activities.

Ms. Guo remarked that Delta's founder, Mr. Bruce Cheng, identified the need for energy efficiency and sustainability to meet the challenge of mankind's energy consumption trends. He was convinced that R&D investment into switching power supply technology could significantly reduce the carbon emissions problem. These R&D efforts helped Delta improve energy conversion from 50% in its early days to up to 96%, which have transformed the company from a components supplier into an integrated solutions provider. Such evolution requires a robust brand that enables long-lasting relationships with clients and that reflects the company's future direction from "Delta Inside" to "Delta Outside".
