Delta Industrial Automation Unveils Energy-saving Solutions at All Energy 2013, Australia

With the technological development of recent decades, our limited resources are becoming exhausted at an unprecedented speed. Energy consumption has led to increasing power bills worldwide, and surging manufacturing costs that have affected the development of industries and aroused the awareness of energy issues by governments and corporations.

All Energy 2013, held in Melbourne, Australia in the beginning of October, is a global platform and exhibition addressing to the world's energy issues. At this prestigious event, Delta Group showcased its line of energy saving solutions.

Catering to the energy requirements of industrial automation, Delta demonstrated its integrated energy saving solutions for machinery and the factory. For machinery, Delta featured energy savings for injection molding machines, lighting, elevators, and HVAC using Delta's controllers, communication, variable-frequency drives, and motors in one integrated package. The energy saving efficiency for the four machines reached or exceeded 50%, representing significant potential for greater operating cost and resource savings

For factories, Delta featured a seamless connection of equipment for real-time monitoring and management of energy usage, making possible a dynamic and flexible factory operation control that extends overall system lifespan and saves energy.

This solution adopts Delta's AH500 series PLCs as the main controller, human machine interfaces for local management, CP2000 series control drives for flexible equipment operation, ASDA-A2 series motion drives for motion driving, power meters and temperature controllers for real-time sensing, and power quality products for the improvement of power quality from the power grid.

Delta's series of energy-saving solutions grabbed attention at All Energy 2013, attracting more than 100 visitors to the Delta booth during the two-day exhibition. With our brand promise “Smarter. Greener. Together.,” Delta is dedicated to innovation and energy savings for industrial automation and a better tomorrow.
