Delta Electronics Thailand Wins Award for Excellence in Sustainability

Bangkok, Thailand, February 12, 2018 – Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. has won a prestigious global distinction for its excellent sustainability performance and is the only Thai company to earn this award in the electronics category. This recognition reinforces Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL.'s position as a global sustainability leader within its industry.

RobecoSAM, a sustainability investing (SI) specialist, conducts the annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) with sustainability awards and recognitions. Delta won a bronze class distinction for a CSA score in the top 10 percent of global companies in its sector.

Created jointly by S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) was launched in 1999 as the first global sustainability benchmark and tracks the stock performance of the world's leading companies in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria. RobecoSAM publishes the Sustainability Yearbook, an annual publication that assesses the sustainability performance of the world's largest companies.

This year, Delta Electronics earned its highest scores for the company's code of business conduct, climate strategy and human capital development, according to RobecoSAM.
