Delta Electronics@@ Board of Directors Appoints Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Company and Approves the Acquisition of Private Placement of Securities

Taipei, Taiwan, June 22, 2009 – Delta Electronics, Inc. (Delta Electronics or the "Company") today held a meeting of the Board of Directors, at which the Board appointed the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Company and approved the acquisition of private placement of domestic convertible bonds.

The Board approved the following:

1.Bruce CH Cheng as the Chairman and Yancey Hai as the Vice Chairman.

2.Acquisition of private placement of securities of domestic convertible bonds issued by Dynapack International Technology Corp. The total transaction amount is NT$860,000,000.
