Delta's “Smart Green Building” at COMPUTEX 2016
Demonstrating an IoT-enabled Workplace with its Energy-saving Technologies

Taipei, Taiwan, June 1, 2016 –Delta Electronics, Inc., a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, showcases its advanced solutions for building automation, smart energy management and interactive projection at the influential tradeshow COMPUTEX Taipei 2016. Under the theme of “Smart Green Building,” visitors can experience how Delta's building automation technology and consumer electronics coexist with the IoT concept to empower a smart green workplace.

Mr. Ping Cheng, Delta's CEO, highlighted: “Building accounts for roughly 1/3 of global energy consumption. By combining the IoT concept with Delta's core capabilities in power electronics and energy savings, our building automation solutions can integrate with Delta's current building energy-saving product portfolio to optimize productivity and energy consumption in buildings, which is aligned with our corporate mission of “To provide innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow.”

Ms. Shan-Shan Guo, Delta's Chief Brand Officer, pointed out: ”Last December, Delta shared its experience in realizing 21 green buildings over the past decade with the international community at the COP21 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris. This year, at COMPUTEX, we feature our new Americas HQs green building, which is expected to achieve net-zero energy status, as a major theme to prove that smart technologies can help mankind reach harmony with nature.”

At COMPUTEX Taipei 2016, Delta showcases its latest building automation solutions including the Building Management and Control System (BMCS) that effectively integrates various building operations (HVAC, lighting, etc.) and Delta Energy Online, a real-time energy management system. In addition to Delta's state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) DC and AC chargers, Delta also introduces a wide spectrum of consumer electronics, such as: The new Vivitek Qumi Series projectors for users who require a powerful yet portable pocket projector; iF Design Award 2016 winner NovoPro Wireless Presentation & Collaboration System for interactive and collaborative meeting or classroom learning activities; the ENERGY STAR-certificated ventilation fan with Bluetooth Speaker; a complete line of Innergie smart charging power solution, including the PowerGear ICE 65, which was recognized with the Taiwan Excellence Award 2016.

The highlights of Delta's “Smart Green Building” are:

Smarter Building

Centralized management and distributed control of a range of systems with different protocols performing building operations can be attained through Delta's BMCS platform, an IP-based integrated and extensive platform, for higher efficiency. The Delta Energy Online web-based tool offers energy monitoring, visual analytics and advanced energy consumption diagnostics that help management realize strategic measures for energy conservation in buildings.

Winning both the Taiwan Excellence Award and the Energy Label certification, Delta ventilation fans consume 50% less electricity than most traditional ventilation fans thanks to our in-house DC brushless technology. We also showcase an innovative model equipped with a Bluetooth speaker that allows users to enjoy excellent air quality and music at the same time.

Greener Space

With compact design, built-in network connectivity, and compatibility with universal charging standards (SAE, IEC and GB), Delta's AC Mini EV Charger is ideal for residential and commercial applications. Delta's new 25kW DC Wallbox Quick EV Charger offers dual output as well as a pluggable modular power system architecture for a meaningful reduction in installation and maintenance costs. An EV charging site management system with mobile APP services that provides high-level convenience to EV users is also displayed.

Collaboration Together

Vivitek Qumi Q8, the world's smallest native 1080p projector suitable for entertainment, education and business applications, and Qumi Q3 Plus, a smart projector with Android™ OS and full-connectivity are displayed at COMPUTEX. We also demonstrate the iF award winner NovoPRO, which is a wireless interactive presentation and collaboration solution for sharing digital content from PC's, Chromebooks and mobile devices with a variety of Vivitek projectors.

Innergie, a brand of Delta, presents a complete lineup of smart charging power solution, including the Taiwan Excellence Award Winner PowerGear ICE 65, a universal laptop adapter. It could be used in combination with the LifeHub Plus, a three-port mobile super-speed charging hub, to power a laptop and keep all of a consumer's mobile devices charged anywhere, anytime. Another Taiwan Excellence Award Winner WizardTip, a detachable USB charging connector, which can work with all Innergie universal laptop adapters, like the PowerGear ICE 65, gives consumers an instant USB port for charging multiple mobile devices at the same time.
