Delta Showcases Its Latest Solutions for Advanced Energy Management at Techno-Frontier 2016 in Japan

Tokyo, Japan, Apr. 18th, 2016 – Delta, a global leader in thermal and power management solutions, has announced it will exhibit its latest developments in high-performance and energy-efficient products and solutions at the Techno-Frontier 2016 show from April 20th to 22nd in Japan. For advanced energy management, Delta is presenting a prototype residential battery energy storage system using its new P140 lithium ion cells with high energy density and capacity (50Ah), together with its Home Energy Management System and smart meter communication solution. Delta will also feature its newly introduced Human Machine Interface (HMI) line up and highly-integrated compact drives for industrial automation applications.

Highlights of Delta's Techno-Frontier 2016 showcase include:

- Battery Energy Storage Solution: Delta is presenting its battery energy storage solution, from lithium ion cells to energy storage systems (ESS) suitable for a wide range of applications such as community and commercial energy storage and utility-scale ancillary services. Together with the Home Energy Management System and smart meter communication solution with G3-PLC and Wi-SUN modules, Delta provides the key elements that constitute an advanced energy management system.

The new P140-50Ah is a 3.7V/ 50Ah high capacity, rechargeable Lithium-ion cell with technology that comes from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI). With the advantages of fast charging, excellent reliability and long service life, this cell delivers excellent performance in many applications such as renewable energy storage systems for wind power and solar energy, DC backup power, E-Bus, E-Forklift, and others. It also targets applications for residential and industrial energy storage systems.

- Industrial Automation: Delta is introducing its new HMI DOP Series and slim-sized highly-integrated M300 Series compact drives, as well as its recently launched inverters, AC Servo drives, and a full range of products and solutions for various applications.

- Thermal Management: Delta will exhibit its latest products developed for thermal management, including the electronically commutated (EC) fan GT Series, which is easily integrated with power conditioning systems (PCS) for industrial equipment applications.

Delta is also exhibiting new solutions such as EV charging communication networks, a distributed PV system, and DC high voltage power supply systems for data centers and more.
