Deltas' Ultra-Short Throw Projector Wins the Taiwan Excellence Silver Award
Total 11 Delta Products Win the 2014 Taiwan Excellence Award

Taipei, Taiwan, April 24, 2014 – Delta Electronics, Inc., the leading global provider of power and thermal management solutions, today announced that it has won the 2014 Taiwan Excellence Silver Award and "Taiwan Excellence Award for Best Achievement" at the 22nd Taiwan Excellence Awards organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. These awards not only recognize Delta's efforts in innovation and design but also highlight the highly competitive edge of the Delta brand in the global market. Delta's Chief Brand Officer, Ms. Shan-Shan Guo, received the awards on behalf of Delta.

Since 1993, a total of 58 innovative products from Delta have won the "Taiwan Excellence Award" with 11 of the awards received this year. Among the awarded products, Delta's Vivitek D755WTi ultra-short throw projector, created through precision manufacturing, delivers high brightness and an ideal contrast ratio, built-in interactive functionality, 3D capabilities and video and audio connectivity options. It is a preferred tool in the education industry and was recognized with the 2014 Taiwan Excellence Silver Award.

The Taiwan Excellence Silver Award winner, Vivitek D755WTi, is the ultimate ultra-short-throw projector for the education sector that delivers up to a 100" image from a distance of only 36cm from the screen—a distance 75% shorter than regular projectors. This achieves a high-quality resolution while avoiding shadow obstruction and glare in the presenter's eyes. Lightweight at only 5kg, the WXGA projector also offers high brightness of 3,300 ANSI lumens and an outstanding contrast ratio of 5000:1, ensuring a perfectly displayed image.
