Delta Unveils the World's First Ultra-bright Laser-based Video Wall at Integrate 2014 Australia

Sydney, Australia, August 21, 2014 – Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management and pioneer in display solutions, announced today it will unveil the world's first ultra-bright Laser-based Digital Light Processing (DLP®) video wall as it debuts at Integrate 2014 Australia. Delta's Laser-based DLP® video walls feature industry-leading performance with brightness of up to 1,800 lumens and significantly improved energy savings of up to 10% compared to traditional technology. Through the integration of Delta's advanced control systems, –DVCS and MiNiCON– our video walls become total solutions for applications demanding 24/7 operations.

Through a live demonstration, visitors will be able to experience the advanced functionality of Delta's innovative display and monitoring solutions, all of which are designed to maximise reliability and efficiency for control room, public display and visualization applications.

Compared to similar LED-based DLP® video walls, Delta's laser version boasts an array of benefits, including better performance via incredible brightness of up to 1,800 lumens and a high contrast ratio of up to 2000:1. In addition, the redundant light source and power supply in the new Laser-based DLP® video wall guarantee no downtime, making it ideal for applications demanding 24/7 operations while enhancing energy savings by up to 10% (versus traditional cubes), thus, providing a remarkable reduction in costs of ownership.

Delta will also exhibit some of the world's most advanced visual display control systems for its video wall technology: The Distributive Vision Control System (DVCS) and the Embedded Vision Control System (MiNiCON). The highly adaptable IP-based DVCS –one of the most advanced control systems of its kind– supports over 10,000 sources and facilitates a centralized control platform designed specifically for control rooms, allowing the controller to manage multiple video sources on a single display, or enlarge a single video signal to multiple displays. Delta's fully embedded vision control system (MiNiCON), delivers real-time playback, high performance and stability to support continuous operations.

Delta will also be introducing the ultra-narrow bezel LED LCD video walls, featuring the slimmest bezel in the market. These video walls allow a seamless connection between each display to create a powerful, high-impact visual experience for viewers. Scalable and expandable, these displays can be mounted vertically or horizontally to form a display unit of any size or configuration to suit a variety of applications, including control centres, network operations centres, airports, conference rooms, public signage and more.

Delta will exhibit its state-of-the-art display & monitoring solutions during Integrate 2014 at booth E72, Sydney Olympic Park (Australia), from August 26 to 28. Organised in association with InfoComm International and CEDIA, Integrate 2014 is one of the largest and most prestigious trade events in the Australian AV and Systems Integration industry.
