Delta Smart Manufacturing Webinars:
Upgrading for Smart Green Manufacturing

Explore smart manufacturing with Delta every Friday afternoon from 10~23 June on the YouTube Channel Delta Industrial Automation

To counter climate change, sea-level rise, and other red alerts for humanity, the green economy and net-zero emissions have become important directions for industrial development. As the green supply chain becomes more popular, manufacturers, which traditionally consume a large amount of energy, are embracing smart green technologies. This not only benefits their corporate ESG images, it also enhances their future competitiveness.

With sustainability becoming an industrial focal point, Delta is leveraging its deep-rooted DNA of providing innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow, and is starting a new webinar series in June. The new series will focus on the theme of upgrading for smart green manufacturing and will share an extensive amount of content on industrial infrastructure upgrades, fluid equipment optimizations, and data visualization for intelligent decision-making. Combining Delta’s long-term attention to environmental sustainability and forward-thinking smart manufacturing, the topics will cover multiple perspectives. By introducing comprehensive smart solutions for energy management, Delta will help manufacturers embrace sustainability and grasp smart green manufacturing business opportunities with innovative technologies.

From 10 to 24 June, Delta is hosting the webinar series “Upgrading for Smart Green Manufacturing” on its YouTube Channel Delta Industrial Automation at 14:00 every Friday. Webinar topics will include:

  • 10 June: Facility upgrades to embrace smart green manufacturing
Oil, gas, water, and electricity are the key indexes for plant energy management. To help manufacturers achieve smart green upgrades, Delta is sharing its smart green facility solutions in the first webinar session in June. The solution not only features Delta’s technical capabilities in software and hardware, but also integrates OT and IT layers to reduce the energy consumption of machine sets and collect real-time data through field application products, such as smart electrical meters. In addition, it uploads the data to energy management and smart facility monitoring and control system for users to centrally manage and analyze the utilization. The IT layer adopts self-learning, remote maintenance, and other smart technologies to help manufacturers optimize their energy utilization.

  • 17 June: Fluid equipment optimization for high-efficiency energy-saving
Following the topic of industrial infrastructure upgrades from the previous week, Delta will feature the topic of fluid equipment in energy-saving on 17 June. The content will include the direct-drive permanent magnet frequency-variable cooling tower solution and how its direct-drive structure can help users enhance system efficiency and loading compared to the traditional implementation. Delta will introduce the high-speed fluid solution integrating levitation bearing systems that can reduce shaft power consumption to lower operation and energy costs for water chillers, air blowers, air compressors, and other applications.

  • 24 June: Data visualization to drive intelligent decision making
Massive data is continuously generated nowadays. How to use data for decision-making is provides the most value for manufacturers. On 24 June, Delta will share its smart visualization IIoT solution based on HMI products. Through multiple communications interfaces and protocols, users can upload data to website browsers or the cloud, and monitor it remotely to collect useful insights for operation from customized information and charts. In addition, Delta will also introduce the SCADA systems VTscada and DIAView and present their positioning and suitable applications to help manufacturers evaluate the ideal solution for their plants. Delta will elaborate on how manufacturers can utilize visualized data to optimize energy management, enhance energy-saving benefits, and move towards sustainable development with smart upgrades.
