Delta Smart Manufacturing Webinars: New Intelligent Chapter for the Electronics Industry

Explore Smart Manufacturing with Delta every Friday afternoon from 8~29 April on the YouTube Channel of Delta Industrial Automation

Following presenting insightful topics in March, Delta is hosting a new series of Smart Manufacturing Webinars in April and will focus on the electronics industry. With more than half a century of dedication to the electronics industry, Delta has accumulated solid technologies and extensive experience in the related fields. In the 4-week webinars, Delta will share its in-depth knowledge and comprehensive solutions for PCB (printed circuit board) assembly, machine vision integration, axis control on testing equipment, and screw driving. The abundant webinar content offered will help manufacturers seamlessly align with smart manufacturing trends and avoid trial and error to enhance their competitiveness in the global market.

From 8 ~ 29 April, Delta is hosting the webinar series ‘New Intelligent Chapter for the Electronics Industry‘ on its YouTube Channel Delta Industrial Automation at 14:00 every Friday. Webinar topics will include:

  • 8 April: Smart PCB assembly
The PCB is as known as the mother of electronic components. In the first topic of April, Delta will discuss the assembly processes of the PCB, including pick and place, insertion, and de-paneling. Leveraging extensive experience in the electronics industry, Delta will introduce viewers to suitable solutions for overcoming challenges.

  • 15 April: Efficiency boost with machine vision
Due to labor shortages, global manufacturers have been accelerating automation implementation, especially for operations that use high repetition. In this case, industrial robots have become one of the methods that allow people to do more skilled and high-value work. On 15 April, Delta will share two important applications of industrial robots, including flying trigger and conveyor tracking (CVT), and a machine vision system to increase productivity and product quality.

  • 22 April: Axis control on the testing equipment
Testing equipment aims to replace manual detection for the enhancement of product quality. Items with long span lengths that manufacturers need to test with gantries require multi-axis control. On 22 April, Delta will share how the multi-axis control solution leverages its advantage by achieving master-slave axis synchronization and its following functions. In addition, Delta will share the application of the linear pocket actuator in electronics assembly and semiconductor testing equipment. Combined with Delta’s servo system, it can precisely control the force of the z-axis and complete pick-and-place, and the press motion of easily damaged wafers and other delicate components.

  • 29 April: Secrets of screw driving
For the last topic in April, Delta will elaborate on screw driving applications. As screw driving is widely applied in multiple industries, such as 3C and automotive, Delta considers different requirements and will present both a servo screw driving system and the screw driving robot. The former is highly precise and features data tracking, while the latter responds to smart factory trends. Audiences can figure out the most suitable solution for their production lines among the two solutions and increase productivity.
