Delta Showcases Integrated Machining Solutions for Cloud & On-premises Integration of Smart Manufacturing at TIMTOS x TMTS 2022
Delta’s new High-performance General CNC Controller NC5 Series with Multi-channel Control will make its Debut
TIMTOS (Taipei International Machine Tool Show) and TMTS (Taiwan international Machine Tool Show) will join forces for the first time and hold the co-branded machine tool show, "TIMTOS x TMTS 2022" this year. As one of the most significant upcoming events for the global machine tool industry in early 2022, the exhibition will focus on the hot topics of Smart Machinery. To usher in the grand event, Delta has geared up for TIMTOS x TMTS 2022 with the theme of cloud and on-premises integration for smart manufacturing and will demonstrate products and solutions in the fields of Smart Machining Solutions x Machine Networking, CNC Industrial Applications x Peripheral Applications, and Smart Machines. Delta will also debut its new High-performance General CNC Controller NC5 Series featuring multi-channel and other products and solutions for machinery manufacturers to prepare for future smart manufacturing business opportunities.
This year at “TIMTOS x TMTS 2022”, Delta will present exhibits in three categories, including:
- Smart Machining Solutions x Machine Networking
Developing smart machinery is an important step before moving towards smart manufacturing. At TIMTOS x TMTS 2022, Delta will demonstrate how its Smart Machining Solution connects smart lathes, grinders, and machining centers to the IT layer through a high-speed circular network built by the Managed Ethernet Switches DVS Series featuring the high-end proprietary redundancy technology ONE RING PLUS. The solution integrates on-premises equipment with the Manufacturing Management Platform DIAMMP, Industrial Energy Management System DIAEnergie, and SCADA System DIAView to provide visualized and insightful information for decision making. With the CNC smart production architecture encompassing products, data collection, monitoring and control, and big data analysis, Delta empowers machine tool production with intelligence.
- CNC Industrial Applications x Peripheral Applications
Delta will debut the brand new High-Performance General CNC Controller NC5 Series at TIMTOS x TMTS 2022. With upgrades of the hardware and the computing capabilities, the NC5 Series features multi-channel self-integration capability and can fulfill the advanced applications of 5-sided machining. The NC5 Series also provides an API Library to integrate or connect to the smart production line platforms for industry 4.0. In addition, Delta will demonstrate industrial applications such as lathe turning, woodworking, aluminum machining, as well as a 4-channel milling solution, machine tool specialized 3D CAD/CAM software, and the Robotic Simulation Platform DRASimuCAD to demonstrate how software adds value to hardware.
At TIMTOS x TMTS 2022, Delta will showcase multiple smart machines in cooperation with machinery partners, including the Dmark 5-axis Machining Center with the RTCP (Rotation Tool Center Point) function, which is capable of completing 5-sided machining with a single clamping for high-precision and high-speed processing. There will also be the ECOCA Lathe and the EQUIPTOP Surface Grinder displayed at Delta’s Virtual Booth. Both machines employ Delta’s CNC Touch Panel supporting dialog programming so users will not need to edit G code for easier operation and management.
