Taking the Bull by the Horns: Delta IABG Signs 2021 Cooperation Contracts with Taiwanese Distributors

On Dec. 25th 2020, Delta’s Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) signed a 2021 cooperation contract with three Taiwanese distributors: ACE Pillar Co., Ltd. (ACE Pillar), USE Electronics Co., Ltd. (USE Electronics), and Jidien Co., Ltd. (Jidien). At the contract signing ceremony, IABG reviewed its overall sales performance in 2020, and looked forward to facing the business challenges of 2021 with its distribution partners. IABG General Manager Andy Liu signed the contracts with each partner in support of a solid base for cooperation in 2021.

The ceremony started with Mr. Liu’s acknowledging the distributors’ efforts in 2020 to produce significant sales growth despite several global challenges. With an aim to better support its distributors, IABG will integrate global resources in the near future to enable a better customer experience.

IABG’s Sales Division shared industry trends and prospective business plans, highlighting how Delta provided smart equipment and manufacturing solutions to customers in the medical and pharmaceutical industries to help fight against COVID-19. Meanwhile, more and more companies have realized the importance of industrial automation and smart manufacturing due to labor shortage caused by social distancing and lockdowns. With these trends, the Sales Division is optimistic about sales performance in the upcoming seasons.

Another major source of business opportunities comes from technological developments such as 5G, datacenters, and smartphones, which continue to advance stably. In response to these trends, IABG will deploy business strategies for the aforementioned industries, and further enhance support for distributors. The Sales Operation and Global Service, Field Application Engineering, and Marketing teams also shared their 2020 performance overviews and strategies for 2021.

ACE Pillar, USE Electronics and Jidien assured their full commitment to supporting Delta in developing new business opportunities in the era of smart manufacturing, and advancing against all challenges and uncertainties in 2021. One of the partners mentioned that the technical support provided by IABG not only helped further partner expertise, but benefitted the information sharing process between clients and partners.

IABG has produced a video of the event, which wraps up 2020 and envisions 2021. It first reviews the challenges of 2020, including the China-US trade war and the COVID-19 pandemic. Even among the uncertainties, industrial automation has become an unstoppable trend, and IABG believes that it will embrace another banner year with the support of its partners. At the ceremony, IABG supervisors and distributor partners enjoyed delightful conversations in a warm atmosphere, bringing a perfect end to the annual event.
