Use a power meter to measure and analyze the power quality (refer to the diagram below). When the power quality is influenced by harmonic current, we recommend implementing Delta’s APF2000 Series to the power system. The APF2000 Series is capable of compensating for harmonic current, reactive power and load current to lower THD and improve the power factor. Using the APF2000 Series in the system helps to reduce energy loss and lowers the maintenance cost of the equipment.

Total Harmonic Distortion rate is 19.1%

Power Factor of the system is approximately 0.86.
PF = 0 to 1: Power efficiency does not reach 100%. A certain amount of reactive power exists in the system and the current is in leading or lagging mode.
PF = 1: Power efficiency reaches 100%. The current and voltage fluctuate at the same scale.
