When a human machine interface is connected via Ethernet by ADSL connection, a Router is required for direct connection to the human machine interface using eRemote and eServer software. The system structure is shown as in the figure below. Suppose that the IP address for the ADSL connection is 122.124.173.194, the IP address of the human machine interface is 192.168.1.5 and the default communication port for eRmote and eServer is set to 12348, with the corresponding port set on the router as well. In this example, port 123 is set.
After finishing the above settings, execute eServer and enable the IP function. Then, enter the following data and press Start to complete the connection.
