Where should the AG terminal of the AS08AD-B PLC analog input module be connected?The AG terminal on the AS08AD-B is the reference ground point for the module’s internal analog circuitry (generated and isolated by an internal DC/DC converter). It provides a clean reference potential for the internal operational amplifiers. The AG terminal must not be connected to the DC power supply 0 V (N phase / DC 0 V), FE, or PG.
As shown in the external wiring diagram below, no external wiring is required for the AG terminal.
