For the Delta Servo Drive ASDA Series, the control mode can be identified via parameter P1.001.

Common settings:

P1.001 = 0: Position control (PT) mode; commands are received via external pulse input / external analog voltage.

P1.001 = 1: Position control (PR) mode; commands are provided by the internal registers.

P1.001 = 2: Speed control (S) mode.

P1.001 = 3: Torque control (T) mode.

Changes to this parameter take effect only after the servo drive is powered off and on again.

How do I check the servo drive's current fault code?

For the Delta Servo Drive ASDA Series, the current fault (alarm) code can be read via parameter P0.001.

P0.001 = 0 indicates that there is currently no fault. Any other value corresponds to the alarm code of that number (for example, 1 corresponds to AL001, Overcurrent). Please refer to Chapter 14, "Troubleshooting," in the user manual for further instruction.

How do I restore the servo drive parameters to the factory default settings?

For the Delta Servo Drive ASDA Series, parameter P2.008 can be used to reset the parameters.

Set P2.008 to 10 to restore all parameters to the factory default settings. Once completed, power the drive off and on again.

Note: Resetting will clear all existing settings. Back up the parameters before performing the reset.
