The ASDA-M provides up to 6 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs for each axis. For 3 axes synchronous motion control, the ASDA-M can offer a maximum of 18 digital inputs and 9 digital outputs during the operation. The ASDA-A2 can only provide up to 8 digital inputs and 5 digital outputs.
Input commands or signals through the digital inputs and outputs are transmitted via three 50-pin connectors on the ASDA-M. With the conversion function provided in the firmware, the digital inputs and outputs of the ASDA-M can be distributed and programmed for other axes motion control. In addition, when using the ASDA-M, users can use only one digital input for controlling three axes by setting parameters. Please refer to the digital inputs below which provide this function.
1.SON: Servo On. The setting value is 0101 (contact a) and 0001 (contact b)
2.ARST: Alarm Reset. The setting value is 0102 (contact a) and 0002 (contact b)
3.EMGS: Emergency Stop. The setting value is 0121 (contact a) and 0021 (contact b)
In the parameters P2-10~P2-15 (for DI setting) and P2-18~P2-20 (for DO setting), the ASDA-M adds a new bit 4 setting which is used to determine the function and status of DI/O for each axis.
Parameters P2-10~P2-15 (for DI setting)

Parameters P2-18~P2-20 (for DO setting)
