IMP stands for IPC Motion Platform, a Delta application development platform designed as a motion control solution for the PAC Series. It uses the communication fieldbus DMCNET for high-speed motion control and integrates with DOPSoft software for easy configuration of a human machine interface (HMI) with a PC-based controller. It supports communication protocols and interfaces such as Modbus, Ethernet, RS-485 and RS-232 for communication among devices.
