The default Glan1 IP address of Delta’s PC-Based Host Motion Controller AX8 is 192.168.0.10, and there is no default IP address for Glan2. Why does the IP of AX8 always resume to the default value after restarting? How do I customize the setting?

The write filter AX8 protects C disk when power on/off to prevent it from crashing during an emergency power failure. That is why the IP address always resumes to the default after restarting. To adjust the setting, please see below:

1. Ｏpen PAC_Tool

2. Current Status shows the status of the Write Filter.

3. Disable the Write Filter: Click Disable and Reboot to restart

4. The Write Filter is disabled.

5. Adjust the IP to the customized IP address.

6. Enable Write Filter: Click Enable and Reboot to restart.

7. After restarting, the IP address is adjusted to the customized value. Since the Write Filter is enabled, the new IP address will be the default value.

Note: Please enable the Write Filter of AX8 to prevent the risk of a system crash and reformat due to an incomplete shutdown from a power failure.
