First, configure the communication interface of the DMV1000 Series. Choose RS-232 under [Communication Set] > [Protocol] and set the value of other parameters including the Baud Rate, Parity Check, Stop Bits, and Length to the same as the SCARA robot’s default values (9600, 7, n, 2).

When setting output parameters, choose [Output] > [RS-232] and click [PLC link] in the RS-232 setting menu under [Setting], then set the [PLC Address] to 2 for the SCARA robot controller address.

After configuration, the DMV1000 Series will sequentially write the parameters for output in the register of the SCARA robot controller. The starting location of the register is 0x1000H. The SCARA robot can directly read the content of register after inspection by the DMV1000 Series.
