Product Introduction

Features & Benefits

MID Compliance (Conforms to EN 50470-1/3, Annex B and Annex D, Class C)

  • Certified through Module B type testing, with the production following a Module D–based quality management system, the meter consistently meets the highest design standards
  • Class C accuracy with energy measurement error as low as ±0.5%
  • MID-certified, compliant with European energy billing requirements, suitable for international and tender markets
  • Supports MID lock to prevent parameter changes; once locked, communications are read-only to ensure data security

High-Precision Power Quality Monitoring

  • Complies with IEC 62053-22 Class 0.5S standard, providing accurate bidirectional energy and power parameter measurement
  • Supports measurement of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and individual harmonics up to the 31st order, assisting in power quality analysis
  • Monitors current and voltage unbalance to prevent equipment damage and energy waste

Intuitive Display and Operation

  • Equipped with a 198 × 160 dot-matrix LCD, supporting multiple languages including English, Traditional / Simplified Chinese, and Japanese
  • Provides a web interface for remote configuration and monitoring, enhancing management efficiency

Intelligent Data Management

  • Built-in data logging function, capable of storing up to 2 months of measurement data (17 power parameters, 5-minute recording intervals)
  • Supports 29 types of alarm events and can record up to 500 alarms, assisting in real-time detection of anomalies
  • Features automatic meter reading with a perpetual calendar and configurable time intervals for accurate energy statistics and cost calculation
  • Multi-tariff metering automatically accumulates energy consumption for specified periods, with multiple periods configurable for monitoring and managing energy usage across different time slots

Efficient Communication and Integration

  • The parameter grouping function organizes meter parameter transmission and maps non-continuous registers to continuous addresses, allowing PLC, SCADA, or energy management system (EMS) to read all required data at once, reducing read cycles and improving data timeliness and efficiency
  • DPM-C530EM features dual built-in Ethernet ports and supports Modbus TCP, eliminating the need for additional gateways and simplifying system architecture
  • The DPM-C530EM supports the RS-485 Master function and can serve as a Gateway between RS-485 and Ethernet, enabling flexible integration with multiple Delta power meters to enhance system deployment flexibility and reduce overall costs

About MID

Q1: What is MID?

A: MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) is a European Union directive for measuring instruments. Its main purpose is to ensure that measurement devices sold in the European market—such as electricity meters, water meters, and gas meters—are accurate, reliable, and compliant with unified standards.

Q2: What is the main purpose of MID?

A: MID certification ensures that measurement devices provide reliable and trustworthy results, suitable for commercial transactions—such as electricity or water billing—as well as industrial applications. Equipment with MID certification gives both users and suppliers confidence in the measurement results.

Q3: What types of MID certification are there?

A: Common MID certification standards include:

  • EN 50470-1: General requirements and test methods
  • EN 50470-3: Performance requirements for particular electronic meters

Q4: Why is MID certification necessary?

  1. A:1. Ensures measurement accuracy and compliance with EU regulations
  2. 2. Enhances product credibility in the European market
  3. 3. Grants eligibility for products to enter the EU market
