
The world’s first 8K environmental documentary “Water with Life in Taiwan” is shown to all participants at the awards ceremony. The detailed images present the various features of Taiwan's waterscape and natural beauty. It also raises student and teacher awareness of our precious water resources.

The Career Forum invites engineers with abundant marketing, technology, and production experience in the manufacturing industry and HR processionals to share the key points of a career in automation.

Both domestic and overseas teachers share technology and their teaching experiences at the teacher’s forum.

All the participating students vote on the last team to enter as the final contest team, which was “The Neat Fleet” from the RV College of Engineering, India.

Professor Bai-yu Tseng from the Taipei University of Technology (left) has cooperated with Delta for a long time. Mr. Andy Liu, the General Manager of Delta’s Industrial Automation Business Group (Sixth from the right, front row) awarded the Grand Prize to Sun Yat-sen University “Team Chen-Yu Wen 2.0” (Taiwan), Fontys University of Applied Sciences “Team Fontys Smart Wrist” (the Netherlands) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University “Team Jiao Chi” (China).

At the awarding ceremony, Andy Liu, the General Manager of Delta IABG said that the creativity and designs of the teams are much more advanced this year. The demos that showcase smart manufacturing and future living match Delta Cup’s core theme.

The professional judges question the 15 teams’ proposals at the final contest as well as provide suggestions for improvement to the teams.

The team from the Netherlands participates in the contest for the first time. The student presents its design principles, features and applications of the robotic wrist to the judges.

The First Prize winner Team “Engraved on Your Heart” is led by Professor Bai-yu Tseng (first from the left). They built a smart unmanned laser engraving factory.

The smart and energy-saving solar panel cleaning system built by the team “The Neat Fleet” from the RV College of Engineering, India enters the final contest with the most votes from all participants, and receives the First Prize.

The team “Jiao Chi” from Shanghai Jiao Tong University adopts various Delta IA products to connect an information management system for a self-scheduling and controlled production line.

The team “Fontys Smart Wrist” from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands wins the Grand Prize with its flexible and extendible robotic joint based Codesys motion control system and ROS robotic operation system.

The team “Chen-Yu Wen 2.0” from Sun Yat-sen University wins the Grand Prize with an automated equipment learning solution that integrates robotic grip, speech recognition and object detection system, and deep learning technology.

Representatives from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Chinese Association of Automation, Suzhou Government and Delta management team inaugurate the contest at the opening ceremony.

Min Wu, a Member of the National Steering Committee for Undergraduate Teaching of Automation Specialties appreciates that the Delta Cup provides a platform for students to combine theory and practice.

Yancey Hai, the Chairman of Delta Electronics attends the contest and indicates that talent is the key accelerator of smart manufacturing development. Delta Cup is a great opportunity to discover and cultivate more talents for industrial automation.
