For the past 14 years, Delta Industrial Automation Business Unit (Delta IABU) had been through a journey from a beginner to one of the leading brand in industrial automation market in Taiwan. During the development, Delta IABU's 3 partners – ACE PILLAR, USE Electronics, and Jidien have been really supportive and gave Delta IABU strength and help to carry on. At the end of 2009, we especially interviewed the leaders of ACE PILLAR, USE Electronics, and Jidien and were honored to hear them talk about the cooperation with Delta IABU for all these years.
Mr. John C.C. Lin – The President of ACE PILLAR CO., Ltd.
ACE PILLAR was founded by Mr. John C.C. Lin in 1984 with only NT$2 million (about US$60,000). Since then, Mr. Lin has been leading ACE PILLAR exploring the industrial automation market in Taiwan. In 1995, ACE PILLAR started to cooperate with Delta IABU and has been supporting Delta IABU with determination and years of experiences in industrial automation market since then. Mr. Lin described Delta IA products very cost-effective and competitive in the market, and he thinks Delta IA products can absolutely go places if the product quality can be improved. He said, “I believe that Mr. Chang (Simon Chang, the general manager of Delta IABU) has a great determination to improve the quality of Delta IA products. After all, product quality and after sales service are the most important things when it comes to the advanced application market of industrial automation.” On the other hand, ACE PILLAR is also conducting internal changes. Mr. Lin indicated that ACE PILLAR is under series of internal improvements, including management, system and logistics during the worldwide depression. He said, “Except these improvements, we keep strengthening our maintenance and after sales service abilities to satisfy the needs of our customers. We are doing everything we can to follow Delta IABU, and we are ready to grow with Delta IABU.” To Delta IABU, ACE PILLAR is not only a distributor, but a real partner.

Mr. Junichi Kato – The President of USE Electronics Co., Ltd.
It has been 35 years since USE started to cooperate with Delta Electronics, and Mr. Kato decided to wok with Delta IABU when it launched the first AC Motor Drive product in 1995. For the past years working with Delta, Mr. Kato found Delta a very good company to work with. He said, ”USE is very honored to work and grow with Delta IABU for all these years. Starting from 4 employees, our Electronics Division is now a 30-people group in USE. We really appreciate Delta's supports all the way.” For now, 90% sales of USE Electronics Division come from the sales of Delta Industrial Automation products and 20% sales of USE Electronics come from USE Electronics Division, so USE Electronics is almost fully focus on the sales of Delta products. USE considers Delta a really important partner; Mr. Kato really has confidence in the future of Delta IABU. “Delta IABU is the best partner with the best leader and research team. I believe that one day, Delta AC Motor Drive can be the world's no.1 Drive product. If we keep on following Delta IABU, I am sure that our Electronics Division will become Electronics Unit in no time,” said Mr. Kato. At the end of the interview, Mr. Kato expressed his hope of keeping the long-term partnership with Delta IABU. He believes that a good partnership like Delta IABU and USE have is very precious, and he treasures this partnership as much as Delta IABU does.

Mr. San-Teh Shen – The President of Jidien Co., Ltd.
Mr. San-Teh Shen is a business spirit oriented man who always focuses on the reliability and honesty of a partner, and he thinks Delta Electronics is a good enterprise worth to be trusted and work with. “I admire how the founder of Delta Group, Mr. Bruce Chen, repaid and supported his university after he had succeeded. I think the most wonderful personality you can find in one person is gratefulness. Mr. Chen has it, and I admire that and the company he built,” said Mr. Shen. That's why Mr. Shen decided to cooperate with Delta IABU 3 years ago. Even though Delta IABU and Jidien just started the cooperation together, they are both sure that this will be a long-term partnership. Mr. Shen said, “I am glad to work with Delta IABU. Of course, it will be better if Delta can shorten the delivery process and build a fair customer management system soon.” To Delta IABU, Jidien is a special partner with excellent technical abilities, and Delta IABU really appreciates Jidien's supports for the past 3 years. Jidien has been very supportive to the energy-saving applications of Delta IA products and is now planning to promote them in Taiwanese markets.
