Delta Merges with Eltek" Case Study Receives 2015 MAPECT Taiwan M&A Award

The case study "Delta Merges with Eltek" was honored with the Taiwan M&A and Private Equity Council (MAPECT) award for both Annual Best Case and Cross Nation Merger Case on 8th December, 2015. The jury commented that the Delta and Eltek merger case shows exceptional synergy and a positive influence on market expansion.

Delta Electronics Vice Chairman Mark Ko attended the award ceremony and pointed out that the three top global telecommunications power supply leaders, including Delta and Eltek, have had difficulties in expanding the market since the global market has been stable for several years. The Eltek acquisition marks a significant step for Delta and brings a unique synergy in leveraging both companies resources. M&A is one of Delta's growth strategies and the company will continue on this path. The electronics industry in Taiwan is facing a critical point in its development and acquisitions offer a good opportunity to connect with the world. Even though M&A cases may bring risks, it still offers many excellent business opportunities for future development.

MAPECT has held its M&A awards since 2011 to recognize those who have actively engaged in M&A transactions that contribute to the continued growth and development of Taiwan's industries. This year more than 100 cases applied for the award.
