Pioneering Universal Charging: Delta's USB-C Fast Charging Sockets

To combat global electronic waste and better consumer convenience, the European Union has already implemented the "common charger rules", mandating USB Type-C charging ports for diverse portable devices. This pivotal regulation begins with mobile phones by the end of 2024 and will expand to laptops by spring 2026. In view of this significant shift, Delta has been deeply engaged in developing USB Power Delivery (PD) fast charging socket technology tailored for these new standards and market demands. This technology is currently available in Taiwan and Japan, and Delta has actively established collaborations with clients across Europe and the Americas.

To highlight its innovative USB-C charging socket solutions and provide the public with a firsthand experience of convenient single-cable fast charging, Delta hosted the USB-C Socket Outlet Experience Event from May 29^th to June 30^th at Taichung HSR Station. Passengers had the opportunity to charge their electronics devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones with 20 W or 60W output power with just one cable. On the other hand, the USB-C socket outlets offer exceptional installation flexibility and wide range of panel color options to ensure seamless integration with various interior styles, ideal for use in homes, offices, and public spaces.
